Men's NCAA Championships Tonight
Friday April 18, 2008
The men's NCAA team finals will be held tonight, starting at 7 pm Pacific time at Stanford University.
According to my earlier poll, 22% of you think that Stanford will win it all at home tonight. California had the second highest percentage of votes, at 15%. Live scoring is available through the Stanford website, along with the results from prelims.
Also up for grabs is the all-around title, and with two former AA champions (Jonathan Horton and Taqiy Abdullah-Simmons, both on the Oklahoma team), it should be a close competition. Horton won the Nissen-Emery award -- given to the best senior NCAA gymnast -- and is my pick to win the all-around.
And I agree with all of you, Stanford will win the team title tonight.
