The 2007 World All-Around Silver Medalist has been suffering from a series of injuries to her back, knees, and ankles that have bothered her since her days as a junior competitor.
Though Nistor was often criticized for her form, she was an amazingly consistent competitor for the Romanian team, and was especially dominant as a junior in 2004 and 2005.

Aww she was my favorite on the Romanian team. She never quite made it big like I thought she would in seniors.
