Yahoo is reporting that ABC has picked up a new series called Perfect 10, a drama about gymnasts training to make the Olympic team. It will go into production this fall.
Though I love to see gymnastics on TV, these shows usually end up being ridiculous. Does anyone else remember the 1998 show Push? It was canceled after three episodes, and while I watched all three, I couldn't help but cringe. (No clips seem to exist on Youtube -- but trust me on this one).
Here's hoping that ABC will get some knowledgeable people on the set to make this one more realistic.

I remember Push! It was horrible. These shows are always horrible, but you just can’t turn away!
I think your right that it will be very very bad! Plus there is no perfect 10 anymore!
I am so excited about this upcomming series! I am 22 and no longer a competitive gymnast anymore but since I still am very much a gymnast at heart I was ecstatic to hear that there is a TV series about gymnastics. It is not very often that you hear shows or movies about gymnastics so when I do I think it is neat! For instance the movie “Stick It” was corny but at the same time I love it cause it is about gymnastics. So I hope this show stays on air.
