Though Jordyn Wieber's name has been on everyone's mind since she grabbed gold at the American Cup Saturday, I just came across a video of another Jordan well worth mentioning. It's from last weekend's WOGA Classic, and in it, level 10 gymnast Jordan Moore performs one of the most impressive reverse hechts I've ever seen:

Amazing. I could watch it all day. Moore also performs a very nice Shaposhnikova and double layout dismount. According to this earlier interview also on Gymnastike, Moore has committed to the University of Alabama. They're lucky to have her!

Wow amazing!!! I love that release. It looks like she can get her hands in front whenever she pleases. She can take her time, unlike most gymnasts!!
Wow…that WAS impressive. The highest I’ve ever seen.
Absolutely beautiful release. But isn’t this a tkachev?
Hi Julie,
Thanks for your comment. A reverse hecht and a Tkatchev are actually the same release move. Tkatchev is the name of the first man who performed the skill. Sorry to confuse!
That hecht was absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing the link to the video!
