Jordyn Wieber leads Gabrielle Douglas by only .3 after night one at the Olympic Trials. Alexandra Raisman is in fourth, with Elizabeth Price in fifth.
While Wieber, Douglas, and Raisman have been at the top all year, Price is brand new to the senior ranks. She's been rocking routines at nationals earlier this month, and at Trials tonight. Price has an Amanar that's probably the second best in the world, after McKayla Maroney, and has incredible tumbling as well.
Maroney was back after suffering a concussion on day two of nationals. She looked sharp on floor and vault, her strengths, but fell on bars and beam.
Nastia Liukin crashed her bar dismount and is likely out of contention for a team spot. Though she looked improved from nationals, it seems that she just ran out of time and didn't have the endurance to complete her set yet.
