Name of the meet
It was level 4. I don't remember which meet because it was so long ago.
Why it was a great meet
It was the first and only time I ever won first place all-around. I knew that I had done well, but I hadn't expected to get first place. Even in elementary school, gymnastics was not something that came as naturally to me as it did to others. I've always had to work hard at it, so it was a really great feeling to know that my hard work had paid off.
Advice
- I learned to have more pride in myself because I often felt like I was way worse than the other girls at my gym.
- Never think that you can't do it!
