Tell us about the gyms you've worked at or attended in Utah. All reviews can be anonymous, but be sure to include as much info as you can to help others decide if the gym is right for them:
- Whether you're a gymnast, coach, or parent, and what level you are (e.g. Parent of a level 5 gymnast)
- What you like and don't like about the gym. Talk about equipment, coaching, costs, and anything else you'd like here.
- Would you recommend the gym?

Put the name of the gym in your response title -- gyms will be sorted alphabetically -- and only review one gym per post. If you'd like to review more, submit them separately. Review a Gym

Academy West: West Jordan, UT

I went to Academy West in West Jordan, Utah in hopes of finding a club for my daughter. What I found was nearly every coach far overweight! Not a little chunky, but fat. They have a nice facility to properly teach their students, but what concerns me the most is "safety". Can they get to my child fast enough to prevent an injury? My second concern is the example they are setting regarding physical fitness. They need to remember they work at a gym... My suggestion is the owners focus on getting their own staff in shape and create a safer environment for the children.
