Kim Zmeskal was the first American woman to become World All-Around Champion, in 1991, and was the US National Champion in the senior division three years in a row from 1990-92.
In 2000, Zmeskal married gymnastics coach Chris Burdette. The two own and coach at Texas Dreams Gymnastics in Coppell, Texas. The Burdettes have two sons: Robert (born in 2005) and Koda (born in 2006).
