Bart Conner was a member of three US Olympic teams (1976, 1980* and 1984), and won two golds at the 1984 Olympics – one with the team and one individually on parallel bars.
Conner married Romanian gymnastics star Nadia Comaneci in 1996, and the couple had their first child, Dylan in 2006. Comaneci and Conner co-own the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy, and are also involved with International Gymnast magazine, Perfect 10 Productions, Inc. (television production) and Grips, Etc. (gymnastics supplies). Conner has played himself in two gymnastics movies: Stick It and Peaceful Warrior.
*The United States boycotted the Moscow Olympics in 1980, so Conner did not get a chance to compete in the Games.
